David Cieremans is the guitar player for The
Dogz. He has been playing guitar since second grade, for almost 10 years. He
started on acoustic guitar, which he played for a year. Then he started
learning electric guitar. He now plays both electric and acoustic. When he
joined the band, he played electric on all of our songs. Now, he plays both
electric and electric-acoustic. He also plays bass on one song, Sing Sing
Sing. He subs for the bass player, Nicole, because she plays clarinet on
that song.
David has a black and white Gibson Les Paul studio, a Fender Stratocaster, a
red acoustic Ovation Celebrity, an Ibanez, and an acoustic Kakamine.
Outside of the band, David enjoys playing soccer, skiing and snowboarding,
debate, and is a member of the school band. He has been playing soccer since
he was 3. Also, David is a member of the folk group at his church, where he
plays guitar, and a member of the medical science club at his school. When
he grows up, David wants to go into medicine but also keep music a part of
his life.
The picture above is from The Dogz' first time in the studio. David is
playing his Fender Stratocaster.
