| The band would like to thank our band directors, who helped our music grow better, especially Mr. Patrick Glynn and Mr. Nathan Eklund. They play an invaluable role in the band. Without their help, we would be nothing like the band we are today. The band would like to thank their parents for supporting us and helping us achieve our musical goals. Without the firm support at home, the band could not be possible. Thanks must also go out to all the others who helped the band be what it is today, including private lesson teachers, among others. Although we cannot mention all their names, we thank them for all they do. We would like to thank Mr. Cieremans for putting hours of work into our music videos. Without him, we wouldn't have our professional music videos, and we really appreciate it. Thank you! And, last but not least, we thank the real dogs (by that we mean the furry kind). Where would we be without them? Nameless, that's for sure! We hope you enjoy your visit to our site!! |

| On Monday, February 18th, 2008, The Dogz performed at Cecil's Jazz Club in West Orange. We were the warm-up band for Mike Lee's big band, of which Nathan Eklund, our director, is a member. When we started the second set, we threw in an extra song that we had learned without his help. The song, My Funny Valentine, is a jazz standard that Nathan really likes, although he told us that he did not like the words. We rewrote the words so that they were thanking him for being a great instructor and taking over for Mr. Glynn. To learn more about Nathan Eklund, check out his site at www.nathaneklund.com |
